League of Rhordia
Rhordia claims that it is politically and culturally closer to the old republic, less corrupt by the new-fangled dedication to the Shining Ones and standing on its own two feet. Rhordia places its faith in science, reason, and gunpowder. It lacks the haughty arrogance of the Basileans, thereby enabling it to form alliances and closer friendships with other races like halflings and dwarfs. Free will and cultural progress are encouraged in the League, concepts that are anathema to the Basilean way of thinking.
